Melanie Tschiersch

As a PhD student in the lab, I am working on data-analysis and modeling of working memory in prefrontal, parietal and visual cortex and especially the area‘s interactions and differences during working memory tasks.

I studied Medical Engineering during my Bachelor‘s in Lübeck, Germany and went on to pursue my Master‘s in Neuroengineering at the Technical University Munich. During my Master‘s I joined the Brain Circuits and Behavior lab for an internship of two months, which in the end turned into a Master‘s thesis on the modeling of serial dependencies in subliminal working memory.
