I have always been interested in experimental science, which is why I pursued a bachelor’s in Biotechnology and a master’s in Biomedicine. During my master, I was completely fascinated by neurobiology lessons and also by living in Barcelona. Therefore, I decided to stay in this amazing city to continue learning about neuroscience and joined Brain Circuits and Behavior Lab as an assistant technician, training animals in cognitive tasks. The more I learned about the brain, the more I wanted to create and test my own hypotheses of how the brain works, this is why I am now a Ph.D. student. The main goal of my thesis is to attain a detailed understanding of the neural mechanisms of working memory and characterize the role of the NMDA receptor in it.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, playing the flute, and dancing.
